NFL News: McNabb to Redskins

The Philadelphia Eagles have reached agreement on a blockbuster intra-division trade that will send perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins, according to multiple sources close to the situation.

The teams have yet to iron out all the details but it is said that it is for Washington’s second round pick this year, and a third or fourth pick next year, based on performance.

My take: What?! This makes no sense. You trade your starter to an interdivision foe? Never heard of this happening. I guess the Eagles think Donovan is completely done or only has one more year left in him. Otherwise this makes no sense.
