Jackson Suspended For Three Games

San Diego Chargers Pro Bowl WR, Vincent Jackson, has been suspended by the NFL for three games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

Jackson plead guilty to a driving under the influence charge in February, which made his second conviction for such a charge. The suspension could be reduced upon appeal, but it is uncertain whether or not Jackson will appeal. Minnesota Vikings DE, Jared Allen, got his four game suspension reduced to only two games after his two DUI arrests.

Jackson has been planning to not report to the Chargers training camps unless he is signed to a long-term contract extension, which is probably unlikely.

My Take: If I was a team looking for a WR, do I go after Jackson knowing he will have to serve a three game suspension? Not likely, or at least I would give as much for him.
