Our Picks from Last Night –

Tim – David West – 22 P1P

John – Thaddeus Young – 26 P1P

Tim:

David West, according to NBA Pick One, was actually one of the highest producing players I had left (second to only D-Wade amongst the players who had a game last night). His 22 is disappointing, seeing as he averages over 28 a night. Plus he was playing the Warriors who managed to stomp the Hornets 102-89.

John:

I went with Thaddeus Young last night against Memphis and I’m very satisfied with his production. Young averages 18 P1P’s a night and he ended up with 26 last night in a losing effort. He scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds for the Sixers.

NBA.com’s Expert Pick for Tonight – Paul George – Pacers

“The rookie out of Fresno State with two first names has been getting himself some nice scores off the bench recently. Taken with the 10th pick, Paul George was projected to have unlimited NBA range, and is starting show promise sitting behind Danny Granger for Indiana. Although he is not a starter, with the help of the rookie bonus, George averages 20.5 PRAs a game. That number is deceiving right now and could be higher, because he did not see very many minutes at all in the early part of the season, and has not scored less than 20 in a month. Since the coaching change for the Pacers back on January 31st, the rookie is averaging 33.3 PRAs. It is usually a hit-or-miss decision when picking a bench player, but the rookie bonus will cover up any of those potential woes. Paul George has been so consistent in putting up solid scores over the past month – including last night’s 42 against the Heat – that you can have confidence taking him on the road up in The Palace tonight.”

Our Picks for Tonight –

Tim – Gordon Hayward – Jazz

John – Chris Bosh – Heat

Tim:

I like John's Chris Bosh pick tonight.

Hayward has been playing well of late, 37 P1P in his last two games, nearly quadrupling his season average. I look for him to have a nice game with his rookie double bonus tonight against the Warriors.

John:

Chris Bosh is making his return to Toronto tonight against his former team, the Raptors. Bosh, albeit playing with two superstars is averaging 28 P1P’s a night. He’s gone for 33 and 36 P1P’s respectively in his last two games and I’m hoping that playing in Canadaagain will give him an added boost and he can around 35 P1P’s or more.
