My Pick from Last Night – Dwyane Wade – 44 P1P

Even though it wasn’t a very high scoring game between the Heat and Bulls last night, both teams found themselves in a battle of elites in the Eastern Conference. Wade was able to walk away with a line of 34/8/2 for 44 P1P, the highest of the night and nearly ten above his season average.

The great night from Wade puts me only 15 P1P behind the Expert. I’m currently in the 91st percentile and 2,231st overall.

NBA.com’s Expert Pick for Tonight – Ramon Sessions – Cavaliers

“Here’s the guy that made me look foolish for picking J.J. Hickson over him a couple nights ago. In that game against the Rockets, Ramon Sessions towered over Hickson’s 7 PRAs with 35 of his own. The game was a nice start to the home stretch of the season for Sessions, who also went into the break strong with a 41 PRA performance in a surprising win over the defending champs. The month of February has been kind to him as he’s averaged 32.6 PRAs a game over the nine games, a far cry from his season-long 20.4 average. However, the Cavs did not sit on the sidelines during a busy trading deadline day, and made a move for Baron Davis that could start to affect Sessions down the road. If Davis can bring the right attitude to Cleveland – which is no guarantee – coach Byron Scott could relive their days with the Hornets by inserting him into the starting point guard slot currently occupied by this evening’s pick. It’s a good time to grab Sessions while he’s playing well and still holds the job.”

DeMar is known to throw a few down.

My Pick for Tonight – DeMar DeRozan – Raptors

The match-up of the Suns against the Raptors is a great one for Pick One. The fast pace of the Suns offense will create more chances for Raptors players, especially DeMar DeRozan who is second on the team in points per game. He averages 21.6 P1P for the season, but is averaging over 26 in his last eight.

I’ll take 26 for tonight, but I would love to have 30 from him (and around ten for Sessions).
